The LSTM at the 50th DAGA
The 50th conference of the German Acoustical Society (DAGA) was held in Hannover from March 18-21. The LSTM participated in the 50th anniversary edition of the DAGA with a total of 9 papers. Prof. Dr. habil. Stefan Becker- the position of Vice President of the German Society for Acoustics- contributed to the conference in the field of flow acoustics with his working group. The LSTM contributions covered novel solutions in the field of flow acoustics of fans, drones, cooling circuits, scroll compressors as well as extensions of acoustic measurement techniques and new numerical implementations of CAA methods. In addition, LSTM organized a structured session entitled “Porous Materials in Flow Acoustics”. In addition, we congratulate Associate Prof. Stefan Schoder who was awarded the Lothar-Creme-Prize for his research. Associate Prof. Stefan Schoder is a long-standing cooperation and research partner of LSTM and has also carried out a scientific visit to LSTM in Erlangen in 2023.
