Submission

Proceedings:

Please prepare your proceedings article according to this LaTeX template: DLES14_Proceedings_Template.zip

In a nutshell:

  • Put all content into the file firstauthor.tex (i.e. schlatter.tex)
  • All figures must be in EPS format, named schlatter_*.eps and placed in the same directory as the LaTeX sources
  • Use the command
    > latex editor.tex
    to produce a DVI file and convert the latter into PDF, e.g. using
    > dvipdf editor.dvi
  • For the first submission, please rename editor.pdf to firstauthor.pdf (e.g. schlatter.pdf). The paper will then be reviewed, and the final submission, incorporating review comments, will then be submitted later this year.
  • Please consider the instructions given in example.pdf and further information in refguide.pdf
  • Please note that the total length MUST NOT exceed 10 pages for invited papers and 6 pages for contributed papers.

The deadline for submission is May 31, 2024, via email to lstm.fau@gmail.com. For the first submission, only the firstauthor.pdf is needed (no source files).

 

Abstracts:

Abstract submission is closed. 

Submissions are accepted online through https://www.easyacademia.org/dles2024, where you can submit your contributions in a few minutes. Submission deadline: Extended to Thursday, December 14 2023.

While visiting https://www.easyacademia.org/dles2024, the preferred browsers are Firefox or Chrome. Internet Explorer or other browsers may have compatibility issues, which can prevent you from submitting.

Authors will be notified of acceptance by the Conference Committees.

Note: The submission and registration systems do not share account information.

Important: Go through all the steps providing the required information. Make sure to submit as a draft version is not saved. You can make unlimited changes to your submission before the closing deadline.

Guideline for Abstract Submission

Submission Steps:

  1. To create an EasyAcademia account, visit https://www.easyacademia.org/dles2024 and click on DLES 2024 LOGIN. On the new screen that appears, click below on Create new account.
  2. Activate your account by clicking on the activation link sent to your email account.
    Note: Please check your Spam folder if you have not received the email within a few minutes.
  3. Log into https://www.easyacademia.org/dles2024, using the login details you provided during account creation.
  4. Click on Start a new submission on the top right to enter the submission process.
  5. Go through the steps, adding details as requested.
  6. Under Authors please input details for each author of the paper. At least one author must be marked as presenter and / or correspondent.
    Note: Authors marked as correspondents will receive updates and information regarding the submission.
  7. Please upload your paper as attachment.
  8. If you are happy with the summary information, please click on Submit Now to finalize the process, and an e-mail will be sent to all co-authors to inform them.
